Lao Tseu

For many years we walked by this Chinese Restaurant on Boulevard Saint-Germain - peeking into the crowded warmly lit dining room that looks like the New York Chinese Restaurants I loved when I lived in the city in the 90s. Lao Tseu is Family run and incredibly charming - with a deep menu of classic favorites. The food is impeccable, which is why it’s the kind of place locals turn to weekly. It’s always our Sunday night choice. Lao Tsu really gets going after 8:30 - filled with lots of Parsian families, American Ex-pats on date nights and often an A list fashion celebrity is in the mix.
