Daroco

This chic Italian spot is set inside a soaring former Jean-Paul Gaultier atelier near the Palais Royale. Daroco pairs warm dramatic interiors with an excellent appealing menu. The space is lively and energetic, making it a popular choice for groups and fashionable Parisians (last visit we saw a large table of Vogue staffers enjoying an after-show dinner). Handmade pastas and wood fired pizzas are the standouts on the menu. The cute small bar all the way in the back is great stop for cocktails.
