RODIN – olio lusso– the skin care line from fashion editor and beauty stylist extraordinaire linda rodin has become a staple at space519.  the line mixes an aromatic blend of eleven essential oils (all naturally derived from flowers and other botanicals).  each ingredient adds to the soothing, softening and “glow giving” properties of the product. and you only need to apply a few drops daily.  most of our clients started with the face oil.  within days they were back for more (it also comes in a body, hair, and lip version).  clients were raving about how good their skin felt and telling us that they had been using the oil in place of their other moisturizers and skin care regimens.  the principal behind the products is that they create a an immediate result – caressing the skin with a noticeable result upon application.  we don’t know if this elixir was magic, or if it was just their enthusiasm, but we could  for sure see them glow.  RODIN – Olio Lusso face, body & hair oils + luxury lip balm ($28 to $145).

mcmc fragrances is a small company founded in 2010.  our customers love that the scents go from day to night and that they are the perfect size to keep in your purse.  each fragrance is formulated by anne mcclain, who studied natural perfumery and aromatherapy before moving to grasse, the “perfume capital” of france, for a more intensive study of history, techniques, and practices of modern perfumery.  now based in brooklyn, her scents are carefully created in small batches and bottled by hand. mcclain’s use of organic and interesting ingredients has made mcmc an exciting new fragrance line which is attracting a lot of buzz.  mcmc roll-on (9 ml/0.3 fl. oz – $55)
