space519 is a micro department store located on chicago’s magnificent mile.  owners lance lawson and jim wetzel specialize in curating an assortment of unique and hard to find items across a broad range of categories. our focuses include women’s and men’s apparel and accessories, apothecary, books, music, furniture and home items.

every quarter we create a changing in-store showcase reflecting an inspiring theme, idea or motif.  it may be based upon a special place we’ve traveled or a new trend we find intriguing.

space519 represents a new way of shopping. you may pick up an amazing new lip balm for $15 or a cashmere sweatshirt for $395. you may choose a cookbook from france or a pair of the coolest new sunglasses from italy. whatever strikes you.  

most of the furniture, props and art pieces used in the store are also for sale. from vintage mid-century chairs to a giant leather horse we found at a local market – new pieces arrive weekly.
